2000 270 Sea Ray Steering adjustment

I seem to have a lot of "slop" or slack in my steering on my 270 Sea Ray Sundancer. At slower speed it is a battle to try to make it go straight. It is a single engine model with a Bravo Three Outdrive. Is there any way to correct this?

i have the same problem on my 290 AJ with twins. I am told its normal... although i have my doubts.
