Hey all,
I have a 2003 300 sundanceer with a damaged swimplatform. The marina is stating that the platform should be replaced. I have called searay and they tell me after 5 years of the date of manufacture that searay does not keep the molds any more. I looked up the part on searays online parts manual. The part number is 1746255 for the whole platform. I would like something that is going to last and I need the fix to be right the first time. Is there an alternative? Please help. Im also going to the Ny boat show to try to get some info or atleast a contact info through searay. Any info would be a big help. The boat is located in Lavellette NJ.

Thanks all
Jay

Not sure of how damaged your platform is, but any fiberglass repair shop could re-core yours.

Or this company makes some nice looking stuff for a reasonable amount. http://swimplatforms.contentpros.ne...ay/SeaRay300Sundancer/tabid/2720/Default.aspx

What kind of damage are we talking about here? Any pics? Have you spoken with fiberglass repair professionals in your area? Unless it is real bad you may be suprised what can be repaired.

Also, by Sea Ray's logic to you, they should have the mold as your same boat was made up to the 2007 model year (although limited in 2007). I would not want to buy a new platform though.

I think it is all a matter of the extent of the damage.
