Father-in-law and I took a 350 magnum mpi out of a 268 (that was put in new six years ago). While taking the engine out we had to cut a ground wire that got "hung up".
Now we cannot for the life of us find where it went to:huh:.
We installed this engine in the another 268 of the same year. Would really appreciate it if some has this engine to look where this wire goes. The cut off end is a #14 gauge attached to the port stern side manifold bolt(the #10 gauge is ok).
I have looked at wiring diagrams but does not help. We are having a problem after engine warms up of hard starting and will not go more than 1500 rpms after warm up.
