2005 180 Sport - Broken Engine Cover Shock Mounts

I just went out to clean my boat that has been on the trailer for a couple of months. When I opened the engine cover both mounts for the support shocks had pulled away from the fiberglass cover. I find it weird that both would fail at the same time.

The shock is mounted to a 3"x3" piece of plywood that was fiber glassed to the cover.

What did you end up doing to fix the mounts? I just picked up a 2004 that has the same problem and I have been looking at different epoxy to fix the issue but not sure which one to use?
