Beautiful boat.

I am waiting until the last moment, Oct 16th. The day before they shut power off at the marina.

Ended last season with frost on the docks and this year had snow coming down my first week in May.

That is a sweet looking 390 JC! We had a great summer but it's definitely a short season up here in Michigan. We hauled out on arguably one of the nicest days of the summer. Getting the bottom blasted before she goes in the barn.

Yep, us too. Last Thursday.

I started to replace the rubber glazing around the windshield glass today and that’s really all she needs this fall.

I’m scheduled 2nd week October. Was hoping for a string of nice weather to close out the season, looks like this Saturday through early next week might be it. Depressing for sure but I have a few projects to keep me busy this winter. Lake tends to get angry end of October leading into November.

Here's the boat's final storage space (same place as last year) for the winter. My polish and graphene held up pretty good

Next Wednesday for us. Getting front canvas glass redone over winter and probably replacing cockpit fridge.

No wonder these northern boats hold their value. A 16 year old boat that gets used for 1/3rd of the year is about 6 years old...

Last weekend in October for me. We will be boating this weekend and then the schedule is full until after the high and dry closes for the winter on November 15th, with the exception of that weekend. If the weather cooperates, I will have the boat out on Friday and Saturday then change the oil and winterize on Sunday. I hate putting her up for the winter.
