2023 Rates

I'm at $65/foot and that's cheap around here.

Easily see $100 + per foot at some marinas

Back in Long Island six years ago I was paying ~140/ft. Now here in Kent Narrows I am Paying ~130/ft. I also own a slip that cost's ~3000 a yr. just to own. That doesn't include the cost of buying it either.

$32/ft for a slip is outrageously inexpensive. Unless your in a place that is falling a part and with zero amities. Then I might want to change marina's.

EDIT: If your talking about winter rates then SH is 50/ft. But 30/ft is the average in water cost. Was that what your were talking about?

I don't feel so bad. We are paying about $13.50/ft/month. Slip available April thru October.

Last year I paid $625 ($25 a ft). This year, my marina is $750 ($30) and the one I stayed at last year getting my OD replaced wants $800 ($32).
Just nuts.
Are you seriously complaining about those dockage rates? All of them are super inexpensive. My seasonal dockage was $110/foot this year, under new management. It was $95/foot last year.

For clarity, is this to winterize your boat, or store it on land for winter months? I assumed the latter. I pay ~$6000 for 12 months for a wet covered slip, April - March. I don't haul the boat in the winter, I can't recall the rate.

$160/ft

I'm keeping my 21' footer in a 35' slip (we pay for the whole slip). I got another small boat to park behind it to justify the cost

Ha ha ha ha that funny

Winter storage. In water is no extra cost, our slip fees are full year calendar rate. I cant keep mine in-water, Outdrive needs to be serviced during winter.

This is haul, wash, store rate. Winterize engine and service outdrive is a separate $300 (which aint bad).

Interesting discussion,
Where we are (Ontario, Canada). We pay ~$7400/ yr. for a 40 ft. Covered slip. That includes our summer and winter storage as they just lift the boats in the slips and the end of the season. Winterizing is al a carte. You can have them do it all ~$2k or DIY.

Wimps.....

My DC Marina went up 10% from last year. $7,325 for a 40' slip year round in 2023.
$183.12 per foot.:(

The Yards. Oasis Marinas now manages The Wharf, National Harbor and The Yards. James Creek for a broken down 40' slip is now $6,672 for the year.

$10.75 sq ft for winter storage plus stand rental of $300.
