Found a 2000 Sea Ray 260 Sundancer with the 7.4 L, B3 outdrive with 580 hours on it. In tip-top condition. The only things I could find wrong with it are the speedometer doesn't work, and the RayMarine (?) built-in GPS doesn't work. There is a dash-mounted one that works just fine.

I has new a/c and heat, full camper enclosure, shore power, all lines, bumpers, AM/FM/6-disc CD/MP3 input, VHF radio.

The guy is asking $28,000...that includes the boat, trailer, and storage through March 2012. Do I jump on it or hold out for a better deal (which I haven't been able to find.)

I purchased a 1999 260 Sundancer 7.4L B3 in Sydney, Australia earlier this year for a lot more than the price on your one. The boat is in excellent condition, kept on a trailer for most of its life. I spent about $15,000 on a remanufactured "long" engine replacement and new exhausts. It looks fantastic moored off the front of our unit on Sydney Harbour amongst other boats. The replacement engine is rated at about 340hp and now runs smoothly and strongly.

The boat you are interested in has a fair number of hours on the engine so it may need some work and the exhaust system may also need replacement. The speedo and in-built GPS unit are replaceable.

Seems like great value if the trailer is included, so I suggest you go for it. Happy boating

Am new to the site. Not very familiar with computers. Need some used parts for my old 1982 SeRay 260 Sundancer. Can somebody tell me the best/easy way to get my message out?
