For any of the 360-390 DB owners out there. If you know, would you mind sharing your prop specs. We have a 390 DB with Horizon 8.1s and due to our performance (or lack there of) trying to figure out what others are running...?? THX!!

Lots of things contribute to performance...this is where I’m at.
2007 Sea Ray 360 8.1S
3500rpms 16-17 knots 46-47gph
3900rpms 20-21 knots 54-56gph
4200rpms 24-25 knots 60-62gph
I never really take her over 3,900rpms. Engine temp normally 170-178
yep , tried that as well swapped them out before the trip and again midway..but i will listen to any and all suggestions!!!When were your fuel filters last changed? When I bought my boat upon survey we could not get it to go over 3,300 rpms and it would drop 100-200 and bounce around. I used that to my advantage and the previous owner did not want to look into it. His loss save me tons of $$$ and some new pre fuel filters and main fuel filter along with upgrade spark plugs...boom 4,200 rpms. Just a thought
was their a sea trial before you bought it? how did it perform then? survey? compression test? have you checked the fuel pressure, as it could be a CF III problem too....
Welcome aboard. That's some serious hardware!New to the thread, but have enjoyed reading it from the beginning. For anyone interested, we installed a set of Kato davits to the stern of our 36DB (www.katomarine.com). See picture. Company is in Annapolis and was a pleasure to work with. We have a small Brig F330 tender with a 20HP Honda. It works well for us. We like facing forward and not sitting on the tube to steer. The davits work great. We've had no problems for 2+ years. Cool fuel Module. They painted the inside of the covers. The paint peals of and clogs the the fuel pressure regulator. Check the fual pressure. Remove the fuel pressure regulator and I’m sure you will find them clogged with paint. Been there.yep , tried that as well swapped them out before the trip and again midway..but i will listen to any and all suggestions!!!
Hi everyone. I have been looking into sedan bridges for a couple of years. Currently in a sundancer and we want more of an open boat layout. I have been on the 42db and the 44db, but never on the 360 or 390db. Recently I have found a 390 and 360 with diesels for sale and I’m very interested but the boats are 1,000 miles from me. The 390 seems to meet my criteria
-diesel
-draft under 3’6” (the river we live on this is about the max draft I want so we don’t have low tide issues)
-bow thruster
My question is what do you all think about the boat, how much room is in the saloon, what’s the headroom? The 42 and 44 felt like vaulted ceilings. I’m curious because I’m 6’7”
If any of you are in Maryland and would be so kind as to show off your boat to me I would owe you a beer or 10!
Thanks, I look forward to hearing your thoughts
You didn’t mention a budget, and the 36’s and 420/44’s are drastically different in price. While you’re looking, also look at the 400’s. And also the 480’s.
