390MY interior door removal?

Helping a friend with a 2003 390MY with a master head door that is stuck/locked in the closed position. We assumed the door was locked from the inside at first but I'm confident something is broken inside the mechanism as I cannot get it unlocked and am familiar with the internal workings of similar locksets on our 480DB.

Our best option at this point is to remove the hinge pins but it looks like there are small heads on either side of the pin. Does anyone know if there are two separate pins per hinge or if they come out from the top or bottom before I start hammering?

I belive the bottom part is more of trim piece on hinge. Hammer out the top pin and you should be good. Had to take ours down when my 3 year locked herself in!
