Hey Guys,
Wanted to upgrade TV, DVD and drop some surround sound in the salon. As dumb as this might sound, I can't get the old TV and VCR out of the cabinet:huh:. I spoke with SeaRay, and they stated to pry off the bottom trim which is attached with christmas trees (expanding toggles), then you should see screws attaching the TV and VCR to the cabinet. After unscrewing them the TV and VCR should slide out. Did all they said, no christmas trees, no screws, no replacement yet! Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help !

I am not sure if I can help, but I have replaced several TVs on Searays, and they seem to have a common installation method. There is usually a piece of 3/4" black plywood that tey screw into the TV set from the bottom. Then that piece of wood is screwed into place either from the top of it(which is does not sound like the case) or the bottom. Sometimes you have to go underneath to find the screws and they can be behind a panel as well. I do not have your model, so take it for what it is worth and good luck.

Brimanst,

Thanks for the info., as you are correct for the aft cabin and v-berth, that is exactly how they come apart. The salon unit isn't the same. Can't get to the top of the unit and there is nothing on the bottom...very odd, but thank you for giving it a stab. I appreciate your response!
