Thanks! I see two Gaskets in the kit. I would have just bought the kit but I already bought the thermostats alone. One looks to be the part 3914310 that fr8dog mentions above. Do I need both?I used these on my 6CTA's last fall.

Yes, housing gasket part number 3914310. I found the number on quickserve. It's possible the existing gasket might be ok though.
Thanks! I was able to get both ordered.Yes....Trying to remember, the round one is for the elbow, and the square one is for the big housing you have to remove to get to the thermostat.
Hey guys, I had joined on here a few months back but needed to change screen name. We just recently purchased a 2000 460 that we are in the process of redoing. Its a solid boat but needs a lot of TLC. I will say we actually are on the same dock as Josh in Clear Lake. It has been a HUGE help but wanted to say hello! Pictures to come soon
GHey guys,
Been a while since I’ve been on here. Does anyone have suggestions on where to buy replacement isinglass/canvas for the 5 panels around the helm? My 460 has a hardtop with a canvas camper top which needs to be replaced as well. I’m afraid that will have to be custom made to get replaced.
This is who made a lot of the 460 canvas for Sea Ray www.gioiasails.comHey guys,

If you know a machine shop, really simple to drill it and tap it, that's what I did, short piece of pipe and then a ball valve with a garden hose fittingAnybody off hand know which Groco strainer in on the 460 for the AC Raw water intake? I am needing to order the
cap for it that has the hose adapter for an AC flush.
Thanks to you all
Hi 370, I too have an '05 460DA with Cummins. never had any issues like this. Florida boat too. 890 hours.Lurking for a friend.
We took their 2005 460 out yesterday, and 10' of forward gear out of the slip, the Starboard engine died. This is after at least a 10 minute warm up at the dock prior to engaging. These people are pilots that run you and I safely all over the world. He restarted, and all was well for the rest of the day. They stated that this has happened about 6 times now, I'll say randomly, but not always at the start of a run. Always after idling for a bit, like waiting for a bridge to raise, and then moving ahead. It always restarts immediately once it is apparent that the engine has died. Their mechanic says nothing is wrong, but I'm not sure they have tried to run it under load of forward gear. I have personally seen it happen. it was 85 degrees on a calm Florida day.
Gassers I know, and 3208s I know. Cummins, especially newer ones, no so much.
Any first guesses about where to point? Starting in this thread in case someone just went through this. Problems in models, and engines seem to replicate across owners.
TIA.
Looking at upgrading to a 2017 460. Love the layout of salon and cabins. Anyone have opinions +/- on this model.
