How many of you have the little washer/dryer in your 460? Do you actually use yours? By looking at mine, I don’t think anyone has ever used it ever. I don’t plan to really use it —- looks too small and can’t imagine it can wash or dry much of anything.
Thoughts?
The top should be the 360 anchor light and the lower should be showing to stern only.
We moved our 460 (yes... I need to update my profile a bit) from Chestertown, MD to Stuart, FL the first week of November. WE USE THE HECK OUTTA THAT THING! You can't do large loads but its nice to do all of your laundry before you leave and fly back to the snow with nothing but a backpack
The dryer takes forever if you overload it. Small loads is the key. My wife pulls sheets early and hangs them over the couch to let them "finish".We haven't tried it yet but everyone else indicates that it's small and only real small loads. What about the dryer function? Work ok?
I changed all of mine to LED's. Take photos as you take it apart (preferably before bloody mary's) and measure the bulb. It's a festoon bulb and if I had half a brain... I would remember the size.Ok thank you. It must be two bulbs then...? I have one out... the back one.

We also pulled out the water heater and installed a 7.5 Kw instant hot. The breaker and wire needed to be up-sized but my 10 year old can climb over the refrigerator and knows how to zip tie off a wire as she goes. Up-sized the breaker and we have unlimited hot water when we are tied to the dock!We haven't tried it yet but everyone else indicates that it's small and only real small loads. We use ours for under ware and towels. you are correct about the small loads. Seems like the dry cycle takes about two hours. The dryer takes forever if you overload it. Small loads is the key. My wife pulls sheets early and hangs them over the couch to let them "finish".
I may have missed your thread on the move - did you run her down or truck her?We moved our 460 (yes... I don't have a formal quote yet but believe it to be between $3-$4k. (Pricey, but if it makes the wife happy, so be it).Awesome! If not too personal, mind sharing approx cost of this?

We left November 1, got there on the 6th. We left before 1st light each day and ran pretty much non stop. November is tough because of lack of daylight hours... but we had a BLAST. Had 3 experienced boaters, one a mechanic on board. That made it easier on me to not have to be at the helm all day every day.BTW, my wife and I are really wanting to run from Maryland to Florida. How long did it take you and did you run in the ocean or stay in the ICW?
Ran down the coast. 6 days. First 3 inside... Last 3 outside. It was gloriousI may have missed your thread on the move - did you run her down or truck her?

We cruised anywhere from 18-22. Had one sporty day offshore that we pulled back to 16 to keep the beer from spilling. Cleaned the props once on the ICW near an inlet that shoaled in. Luckily it was incoming tide, pulled out of gear and walked inshore with the bow thruster. How did she do? Average speed? You were fine in the ICW and didn't run aground like I hear most doing? LOL.

Good luck. They are fairly busy but it's only a three week wait once you get your choices and template back to them. We templated this weekend....now if I can just get my wife to finalize her choices, I could get my order in the queue.....ok thank you. I sent them a note and will see what they say back to me.
