PM sentHey 460 friends. I have the original sunbrella covers for the floors. Free to any one of you just pay the ups shipping. View attachment 135445
Well here it is almost finished. I just t have a couple of spots to address. Took a month to the day and made a huge mess but I think it turned out pretty nice. Happy to answer any questions if y’all have them.
The carpet came up pretty easily but it was a mess under it and had to be scraped and sanded to even it all out. Yes the couch and chair has to come loose. We moved the mid cabin couch to the salon and finished that then put the recliner on top of the salon couch witch we blocked up about a foot on wood blocks.
thanks for the praise, it’s an absolute ton of work
At the boat yard--Grand Isle, he said I have two leaks. One is the water heater. Is there a post way back that tells how to replace it? They also told me nobody makes a 240 volt replacement water heater anymore. So, the water lines do run forward behind the W/D then the go forward behind the fridge until they turn to STBD. and go under the floor to that small storage area in front of the fridge. Taking the fridge out allows access to the “pressure” tank and behind the W/D. If the hot water heater were to be leaking, it wouldn’t go that way.
The panel below the water heater…??? I’m guessing just an enlarged surface for the heater. What a total PIA it would be to replace the heater!!!!!
All that being said, if the heater relief valve isn’t leaking and no signs of water on the face, I’m a little perplexed as to where the water is coming from.
Pull the fridge and check the washer/wrinkler lines?
PS: Another thing I just thought of. If you had a consistent leak, you would hear your pump running periodically. Unless you are on the city water connection.

Replacing that would totally suck. You’ll have to cut the wood panel out on the cabinet to remove it. I dreaded the day if mine had died.At the boat yard--Grand Isle, he said I have two leaks. That’s in line with me I have a hardtop without the lift.
HI folks. Ever since swapping props from 23x27, I've been working to figure out if my speed is inline with most of the folks here with similar boat, options. I Have hardtop + GHS hydraulic platform.
At 2200 rpm I'm right at 19.1 mph(16.597) knots and burning 13.2GPH.
I'm sorry to resurface this up again but wanted to see what everyone else is getting at that rpm with same options (platform + hardtop).
I'm feeling like I'm not underpropped but not sure I want to spend additional $$$ to look for 23x26.
Thoughts?
If you still have the 23x27 props take them to a quality prop shop and have them re pitched to 23x26. Put them on and see what your new numbers are. No need to buy additional props.
I think we have heavy boats and when they are correctly propped that’s all they run. When I am fully loaded with 5-6 people and full fuel and water I can only go 15knts at 2200.
Master cabin reading lights. Who in the world thought that right above your head, shining in your eyes was great placement?? Has anyone replaced or moved them? I mean, I have to wear a hat in bed!!!
I changed them to Lumitec mirage. Then I added a cheap 12v dimmer and I put a small dot in the center of them. Lots of screwing around but they work perfect.
In addition I now have white red or blue.
