View attachment 157546View attachment 157547View attachment 157548So came across a Vizio 32 that is only 28.1” what is the max of what will fit in the stock location and still have the doors working. Had to lower the TV by 1 1/8” to clear the hinges on the door it is that tight. Just had to modify the shelf housing by removing 1 1/8” to allow for clearance to lower it. Cut and painted black as it is hidden now. Very happy with the final result.

I recently completed a similar project. The PO had already installed the larger 55" TV on the wall, but left the old TV cabinet with the black plywood and a mess of wires. I cut the old TV mount and shelves out and then built a bar complete with LED lights to hold our favorite liquor. We are happy with the final outcome, but now need to have some new dark plexiglass cut to replace the crazed panels that are in the doors now.

That looks very nice
Boat out of the Seattle area ?

Those prices are somewhat higher than my bill but not excessively higher. You also had some services done that I did not. In addition NY tax is much higher and that 4% credit card fee......

All in all I'd say its at least good reference for others to go by. Thanks for posting.

Would you/Could you ever do this?

And I mean put your boat in the rental pool. At a minimum, a 6-pack license would be required, I'm guessing. And then insurance....wow.

The money is good…. But no ….. hell no

Boat rental is very popular on our lake. The money is insanely good, but I don't think everyone is going about it the correct way with insurance, licensing if required, etc.

That boat rents with a captain, so I’d guess that there is some oversight on it (whether it’s a legal charter or not…..??).

That being said, I see a lot of “No”, and I understand why too. However, I would consider renting something like that to see if the boat meets the needs of my family. Actually, I’m going to be in the Florida Keys in a few months and I’m looking at renting a 25-30’ center console to try out. I have only inland water experience but come fully insured, safety courses completed, and willing to hire a captain if I need to.

Hello fellow 480’s! For those of us up North - its maintenance season! I could use some help. I’ve replaced my windshield wiper tubing (tubing that delivers wash to wipers) twice in the last 4 years, and they need it again. Local yard replaced it the first time with hard plastic tubing (not soft rubber). 2nd time they replaced with fuel line tubing (I complained about crappy tubing the first time and wanted something more resilient. That lasted 2 seasons. I guess the Ohio sun is too much for these tubing mfg’ers? Lol. anyone know the part #/ mfg of OEM stuff? If not, maybe the inside diameter so I can go source some UV resilient tubing myself? I could also use a replacement rubber boot over the wiper assembly at the bottom of the wipers. Thanks gang!

I've been able to source most of my wiper system replacement parts at AM Equipment.

I believe the is the hose you're looking for, and this is the kit for pivot shaft.

They're usually helpful by phone also if needed.

Hope this helps!

Yes they are great, just give them a call. Rubber caps and hose should get you to their $25 min order.
