Hi all - working through some small post purchase items on our new to us '09 55 DA.

The cockpit ice maker wants to make ice but is not getting water. Pulled the unit and on the back the 3/16" plastic supply line ties into the usual blue water line with a reducer fitting with a valve on it. (The blue water line disappears down into the abyss of the cabin below). This valve is open, the valve at the manifold down in the bilge is open - still no water.

I suppose I can always replumb and pull water off the cockpit sink next door (which seems like the way it should be) - but is there a valve somewhere else I'm missing..seems like the easiest solution.

TIA!

One thing I found on my boat is they, probably during build, switched the icemaker supply with the bilge faucet on the manifold in the lazzerette. I assume you are getting water elsewhere from that manifold. Did you disconnect at the valve behind the icemaker and see if water flows? If that tiny nylon hose kinks it will clamp off the flow. I found out my situation when I changed the icemaker and couldn't figure out how to shut off the water.....
As an edit - if you are getting water from that little hose then most likely the icemaker's solenoid valve is kaput.

Did you solve the issue? The water for the Ice Maker comes from the double water filter on the Manifold below the salon floor.
