I am new boating, and a retired 70 year old, considering the purchase of a well maintained '86 Sundancer. Currently, one major thing does not work on the craft.
The AC has a leak and requires a fix, and a recharge.
Can anyone weigh in on whether an '86 AC (after repair) can be recharged? I am unfamiliar with marine AC's but know older home AC's ran on outdated refrigerant. That stated would repairs be a waste of effort? Might it be cheaper to replace the unit?
Lastly, if I am posting in the wrong place, just point me in the right direction.
Many thanks!
