Was wondering anyone has put air in a 2986 300 weekender. Fuse Panals has ac fuse. I bought boat with a Mobil ac. Looking to upgrade to factory air any input would be great. What where to look if it had it burned out and not replaced

You need to look around the boat to see if there are any old parts from maybe the old A/C if there was one. Look in the bilge and under any seats. Look for hoses or any wires that are not connected.

Mine had a breaker in the panel - but no evidence of an install. Looks like only option is to mount a package unit in the bilge under the port side - cold air register into cabin via under the step. Return via the galley cabinets - make up and cold air to helm station - so when the camper top is up - the deck area could be cooled or heated. Just thinking out loud. :)

a/c unit goes unit V berth, water inlet under stairs, water pump under rear cabin dinnete seat.air outlets go into v berth and in front of dinette.

It should be a pretty straightforward install once you gather all of the parts. Your best bet is to find one locally that has AC, take a look at it, make a list of everything you need, and install it the same way.
