Hi folks. Thank you in advance for any advice on this one and apologies in advance if I muck up any AC terminology.
On our 390 EC we have forward and aft AC units. The Aft unit works great; I turn it to Start and the fan starts, then I turn it to run and the cooling unit turns on; cool air and the whole bit.
Our forward AC unit sits underneath the starboard berth and the controls are on the other side of the wall close to the v berth. When I turn this unit to run there is no fan and I hear only a faint humming. When I turn it to run the cooling unit fires up but there is still no air.
Does anyone have any tips on what may be happening here, and whether this would be a mild repair or would require more extensive repairs or a new unit?
