AIS - Raymarine RAY260 Vs. Standard Horizon GX2200

I have recently added a new C95 Raymarine MFD to my electronics setup and would now like to add AIS. I'm curious if anyone else has added this and in what format or fashion you did so? Standard Horizon has a VHF GX2200 that has built in GPS and AIS for around the $400 mark. Raymarine on the other hand has an integral RAY260 setup that seems to provide the same features except it retails for around $800 - $1000. Has anyone else either purchased and installed these devices and if so, specifically, does the Standard Horizon produce the same screen results on the MFD that the Raymarine unit would? Obviously both units would provide an update to my VHF side of things.
Any input on this would be helpful.
