I hope you have gone through the threads some of us have posted on getting analog signals converted to NMEA 2000. Understanding the bias to ground voltage vs no bias to ground voltage, vs 0-5 volts is important as well as how to deal with the issues with temperature thermistors for exponential non-linear signals. Unless they have "come out of the closet", none of the product manufacturers tell these details. The accuracy of your measurement is completely dependent on understanding these details and being capable to program the constants / formulae into the device.Thank You. After hearing those issues, I’m glad I went this route. I did hear Viking just purchased approximately 400 pieces of various connections and components from Actisense. So it looks promising in a sense...or maybe I am reading into it too much. But either way. Time will tell.
Use caution on promoting a product without any application experience.
Pretty much all marine electronics produced after 2008 are NMEA 2000 compliant so I would be skeptical of any relationship with these devices to what Viking boats are doing.
