My dock neighbor sent this to me. This was last Tuesday, I left Monday...he also sent the vid of the naked man passing by our boats looking to steal another boat. Crazy sh$t!
Around 6am Tuesday a man stole a unlocked truck (keys in it) from the Parkers on Victory in T’bolt. While fleeing he hit between seven and nine vehicles. A prolonged chase continued all the way to Hinkley were he ran onto a docked sailboat to make his get away. Lacking keys, skill, and Hinckley crew hot on his heels, after casting off only the stern lines he opts for plan “B”, stripping naked jumping in the river. The Hinckley crew was preoccupied securing their boat while the swimmer emerges on my C dock and makes a half hearted attempt to steal Fong’s boat two over from us. Again no keys and seriously lacking skill to get a 40’ boat with 1,200 hp of outboard out of a tight slip, he moves to D dock. Another failed attempt to steal a bait boat and on the the dinghy of part year resident transient “Altera”. This caused the lady of the yacht then making breakfast to ask her husband “honey, why is a naked man on our boat?” Husband armed with a boat hook and wife with pistol confront and detain naked guy holding a life ring to conceal he is naked (I pointed out it made a handy bulls eye) until Thunderbolt PD arrived minutes later.
