So after many years of loyal service I launched the boat (2007 340sda) yesterday and my STBD keypad appears to be possessed. Most of the buttons would not work, and then they would work, but on a 10-40 second delay. I’m guessing the famed Sea Ray EIM issues have finally caught up with me. While I love the products from FP marine and have used them several times for replacement panels offer the years, I really don’t like the look (or the price) of their system. So my question is - my “foreEIMunit” is model # 1718630 which Looks like it controls the STBD side functions, I have found a donor boat that can provide a functional EIM unit Model # 1810264. Is this an updated version that would plug and play or is it completely different and not worth my time? Thank you all - the insight on this forum has help me chase numerous gremlins over the years and turned many a mystery into victory.
