I was thinking of getting a Jackery 1000/1500 portable power station to use for A/C power when on the hook or away from the dock instead of running the generator, for temporary things like blender, TV, coffee maker, etc... Looks like you could use a 110 to 30 amp adapter and then plug it directly into the shorepower outlet. I wander if it could run the Air Condition for a little while???

Anyone give these things a try yet?

1500watt?
Spec 1534Wh (25.2V, 60.9Ah) that's about one hour at full load.

An LED TV fine
Blender OK
Resistance heater like a small coffee maker once, maybe two/three.
AC not likely to even startup, run time less than an hour

It would make more sense adding an inverter and a solar panel to the boat. All that unit is is a battery with an inverter anyways.

On days that are bearable, I have two jackery units that we use to power up the fans and a few other accessories. Sometimes I just don't want to hear that generator. Sure, I get it, they are made to run. Also, there are times when I just want peace and quiet. :)
