battery charger died - replacement?

I just discovered that the Pro Mariner 30 battery charger which is supposed to charge the three banks of batteries on my 1994 330DA is dead. Turning on the breaker does not lead to a line increase of voltage to the 13-14 volts, the yellow "Dc Available" light, isn't coming on, and there is ac voltage confirmed by volt meter going to the unit.

My question is this - I obviously need to replace the unit and this unit is no longer being made. What should I replace it with? Any suggestions without breaking the bank?

Thanks

NOT SO FAST!

Don't trash it until you pop the hood and check for the internal fuse. It might just be a 1 dollar fuse...

Check it out!

I'll give that a try tomorrow and see if it works. In the interim, in case the unit is bad, any suggestions on a brand/model for replacement?

Thanks

Xantrex, Charles and Newmar all have nice options for you. Each have different mounting footprint so one might fit better than another.
