A drive shower is only relevant to the drive - not the engine. With a small boat like the 215, a drive shower (while it can't hurt) would be waste of money.

Don't know about that. WOT a B3, the drive temp shouldn't be able to distinguish between a 21 footer and a 28 footer, if it is propped correctly. Maybe between a low HP small block and hi HP Big Block, yes.
