Note to self (and other stern drive boaters): Make sure your bilge blower duct is actually connected to outlet vent. Mine came loose while I was changing out waterpump impeller. I guess old plastic zip ties do break.
An easy check during your 4 minute blower purge before engine start would be to put your hand over the outlet vent to verify it's actually blowing air out of your bilge.
