Boat rental / charter in Middle River / Baltimore area?

Long story short, dreaded engine issues (2 failed "new" Volvo long blocks) has my boating season delayed this year. However, I have a really good allowance from my insurance company to rent / charter boats while mine is out of order. Only stipulation is it cannot be larger than my current boat (37'). I have been doing some research and unless I want to rent a pontoon boat, any thing above 20' or so comes with a captain. Not a big problem, I can still take the family and friends out and someone else can do the work.

Anyone have experience with boatsetter or other rental/charter places in the area that they would recommend? Most seem like you deal with the owner directly, and not through a rental company. Basically looking for day trips 6 or so hours on the water.

Ya i was a bit surprised…. I chartered some big 50’+ boats out of there. If same owner he is a really good guy can’t think of his name

@The Dark Side C&C charter runs out of my marina in Kent Narrows. Not exactly close to Middle River. Rick is a nice guy but runs the charter himself.

You might want to try Freedom Boat club, they do what your looking for and are in Annapolis.
