Sold my boat yesterday, whoever said this will be a happy day of my life was wrong. After 10 seasons she had never let me down. I have a new boat waiting in the wings pending survey. Hope all goes well, otherwise the Admiral will kill me !

I am in the same position, My sea trial is today at 12:00 pm
Hopefully after today I will no longer be boatless.

Non-boat owners take that saying to mean you are happy to get rid of the old boat and be done. However within the secret circle of boat owners it is know to mean we are actually happily awaiting our new boat.

With everything going on and two failed surveys, I 100% regret selling my immaculate boat that sold in 1 Hour on FB.

When I sold mine I took a chair to the dock and just stared at an empty slip for a few weeks before I found the replacement.

Good news, Survey was completed on the boat today, surveyor says it’s a nice clean boat all systems seem to be operating and the moisture content is very low. Sea trials set for May 18. Hopefully it all goes well with that, then shortly after that I should be back on the water.
