I was told that if you use that paint, to get it asap. Apparently it’s no longer being made.Vc17m didn't go up in price much since last year....surpridingly. Of course I don't need any.
I hadn't read that. Too bad. It's great in fresh water.I was told that if you use that paint, to get it asap. Apparently it’s no longer being made.
You are right it is not, bigger pisser is finding a yard that will let you do your own painting.Good price. I get 3 years out of a gallon of ablative. I only add to spots that washed away. People slather that stuff on the whole boat every year. Its not necessary.
Yeah we are in one too. We even have provisions for pulling engines if we have to.We have a few around here that are ‘green’ marinas. No sanding, painting, etc.
Thank god we still have ‘boatyards’ that may not have a restaurant or pool, but actually allow self maintenance. I am in one.
Good price, from where? Is Defender the name of the paint maker, or the site that sold the paint?Just got a gallon of Interlux Bottom Coat from Defender on sale for $108 free ship and a $10 mail in rebate. Not too bad.
Never mind about my question, I went to the Defender site. I’m actually looking at water based paint, easier for cleanup for one, and you don’t have to thin it. Pettit Neptune for 135.Just got a gallon of Interlux Bottom Coat from Defender on sale for $108 free ship and a $10 mail in rebate. Not too bad.
The truck was much further from the boat when it was lifted out. I pulled it up closer because the back end was filled with supplies, ladders, etc.Be careful with car that close. We’ve been down that road before.
I'm right with ya! Had my 340 Amberjack for 17yrs and only spot treated - Figured that the only ones upset about a less than perfect finish would be the fish. That being said, the boat started accumulating algae by later in the season which slowed her down a bit. I'd anchor in 4' and get out my extendable brush and do my best to "clean" the bottom.Good price. I get 3 years out of a gallon of ablative. I only add to spots that washed away. I did exactly this.....I'm doing the whole bottom this year so I got 2 gallons. Last time I did the whole thing was 2017. Really like Interlux BottomKote...Just got a gallon of Interlux Bottom Coat from Defender on sale for $108 free ship and a $10 mail in rebate. Not too bad.
