Hey all,
Just replaced the lower shift cable on my bravo 3.
I have the adjustment tool and was reading up. I just had a few questions to clarify.
I get the 3" stud placement then shifting foward qnd adjusting stud align it properly with the rear slot.
My only real question is the threaded part that threads onto the shift cable sleeve. Do I just screw that in the cable sheath until it's tight. (See the red circled part if my crappy description isnt enough)Then lock that nut? Or is there adjustment for something with that?
I only ask because I've been playing around with it (with muffs, running to shift), and it seems like forward it shifts fine, but reverse it almost seems like it clunks.
