Can anyone recommend a good mercruiser I/O repair manual for a bravo III? I heard about this one, "Cylmer - MerCruiser Alpha One, Bravo One, Two and Three Stern Drives, 1998-2004", but I heard a lot of negative reviews on it. That is covers too many drives and motors, and it doesn't go into enough details.

I have the Clymer manual for my engine/outdrive. I like the organization of the manual. Unfortunately, there are places where it is just wrong for my outdrive. Not a lot, but enough that I may soon buy the real thing from Merc. I recommend the real thing.

Bought my Merc OEM on E-bay... $20. Almost brand new.. But you need to frequent the site. They sell fast!

I have the clymer manual but it does cover to many motors and drives at one time. You have to jump around to find what you need.

I also got my Merc manual off ebay. Make sure you get the right manual. They are numbered depending on year, motor and whether it is the motor or drive. might want to poke around trying to find out what are the proper merc manuals for you boat before jumping in and buying the wrong one.
