Carb cleaner Merc 350 tournament ski

Well, we adjusted the 2 screws on the carb and it idles smoother now (still not great, but it doesn't want to die every time we put it into neutral), but now we've noticed that it sounds like an old tractor.

It has a slight tick tick tick sound, maybe a lifter, but my dad said it sounds like an exhaust gasket leak.

The tick could be an errant spark.

over the weekend my dad and I adjusted the idle screw and that made a huge difference... nice and smooth now.

it was idling at 500 rpm, now 800 rpm... no stalls, etc...
