Links, please. That's an old story. If you want to hear about idiots check out that story on Lake Louise. Woman jumps overboard with the anchor because that's what she thought was the correct method. She struggles two guys jump in after her and they both drown
It is. I figured with the age of this crowd y’all could have read it yesterday and forgot by today. That's an old story.
Don't have time but it will come up with Google. Lake Eloise 2 days agoLinks, please.
Here in Northern IL there is a "Chain of Lakes". One night a guy takes a girl out on his boat, shuts the engine off and they do some "horizontal dancing"... Afterwards he jumps in to cool and clean off... boat drifts away from him. he can't keep up with the drift and she doesn't know how to start the boat. He drowns in like 6' of water. He probably could have stood up...
I was kind of surprised to read this, but it is Idaho, after all: "(T)here are no Idaho boating laws that require boaters to be of minimum age, take a safety class or pass a proficiency exam. Although there are no such laws, certain counties in ID have local ordinances that require residents to be within a certain age range in order to operate water vessels." https://www.dmv.com/id/idaho/boatin...utm_term=organic_dmv&utm_campaign=organic_dmvThe only people that seem to care about your boat skill is the insurance provider. Getting a boat license is easier than getting driver's license. Does anyone know of any states or country that have an on water test for pleasure boating license?
