Dumbasses should just use McCormick place. It's giant and has all the facilities needed. Was going to be a covid hospital, so maybe they still have the beds there.
 
Mayor Brandon's approval rating is at 28%, he's got it in him to be a record breaker and set a new low. The dummy invites the illegals to his city but sues the buses that deliver them. Like referring to riots as gatherings, migrant crimes are referred to as being committed by Chicagoans.

Mayor Brandon was a 'Defund the Police' supporter, recent polls show 63% of Chicagoans don't feel safe. Maybe Brandon thinks if he starts out on the bottom, there's no where to go but up.

She was flavor of the month. Got to go back to kid Daley when the city really kicked a$$. By the Obama years, he was too conservative for the morons and his ratings fell. He had trouble cracking down on the thugs causing issues along the lakefront. Chicago has been a chitshow ever since.
 
Woke Mayor Brandon is having trouble with his new job. Being Mayor of Chicago is hard, he's under a lot of stress and has been hospitalized for his panic attacks. It's all Texas Gov Abbott's fault because he's sending those busses.
 
What Mayor?….. seems like a free for all to me

Saw one the other day that said 90% of shootings are done by democrats. Take all guns from democrats and we reduce gun deaths by 90%

Maybe he didn't know it was illegal to shoot someone? He could have a bad memory? That would make it okay by today's standards if he is a democrat.
 
I just met a friend for a drink. He is heading to Chicago for a 3 day corporate meeting. His company rented one of the big hotels downtown.. don’t remember the name. I haven’t been there since before Covid…and I love that city.... so I said … I would be curious what you think of the city …. He says oh no I’m not leaving the hotel. I’m wondering how much that city is really suffering because of the crime and how many people have the same mindset as my friend

I won't even go there at all anymore. And I love...or loved...going to Chicago. I don't even like crossing the bridge into Illinois.

I am about 1 hour away in the burbs. Kid used to be 1 block from Wrigley, now lives in Lincoln Park, right by DePaul University.

The city absolutely sucks (and has been headed that way for more than 10 years). Went to a concert about this time last spring. Spend a whole lot of time planning routes, where to part, where to walk, etc. trying to stay safe. The next day there was one of those flash mobs that shut the streets down, damaged cars, beat people, etc. The exact block we were on the day before -- that could have been us caught in that mess.

When we go down to see the kid, have to keep your guard up. Just down the street from him there were several incidents. It seems they are working in threes plus a driver. Car pulls up, three dudes jump out rob, car jack, etc. Chit happens at all times of the day.

Two weeks ago, my foreman was carjacked at gun point in a home depot parking lot. Middle of the fkg day. Thug put a gun to his head. His wife too.

What I am completely disappointed and shocked about is none of these perps are getting popped Charles Bronson Death Wish style. The population has become wussified.
