I wasn’t really sure where to enter this but here it applies to,my future boat.
I’m a coffee addict. Nothing happens until I’ve had morning coffee. LOL
So I see these bigger boats all have coffee makers. B&D Spacemaker apparently. That’s a great selling point for me.
My average coffee maker lasts about a year and it loses performance even with extra care. So are these replaceable? I did a search regarding these here already. Apparently they are wired directly, not a simple plug in. Then looking on the Internet the best I can come up with is used ones on EBay. About 80 bucks. That seems pretty steep for a $15 product. I’ve tried to fix various problems by saving the old ones and scavenging parts but it is simply not worth the effort. Often the failure is in the boiler and they seem to go through yearly changes that make a simple swap very difficult.
So does SR sell a replacement unit or can I simply purchase one from a B&D dealer?
