Cool non boat boat shoes

Sperry, year round, regardless of weather. Inside Outside, dont matter. Have to walk daughter down the aisle next May. They tell me i have to buy a suit. With a tie. In Tampa.
Will wear Sperry, no socks.
You sound an awful lot like me. Boat shoes, no socks everywhere and anytime of year. Oh and yes, both kids weddings. I think nice Tuxedos look good with no socks. ;)

User name checks out.

My brother-in-law, who lived in the Bahamas from age 8-18 and has a family property there, spends most of the summer with no shoes whenever possible.

I work from home and was looking for a good pair of "house shoes". Most are slippers, and well, suck.

I ordered and received these last week, and I am impressed. They have some weight to them, firm, good support, good fit, and I think with the non skid sole will be excellent boat shoes as well.

How is the fit on these? Do they run large, small, or true to size?

Perfect fit, wearing the 2nd pair today, true to size. I usually need a wide, these fit good. I really like these shoes. No more memory foam soft squishy shoes for me.

Sometimes I bug two of something from Amazon with the intention of returning one, I am keeping both of these.

I got my delivery of the ones with the closed heel yesterday. I'm sad to report they didn't work for me. I like shoes with a little rise in the heel. These ones felt completely flat, so by contrast to my other shoes they felt like my heel was in a hole. Also even after a few seconds just standing in my kitchen, my feet started to feel very hot. That would not be good long term. Reluctantly I sent them back. Bummer because I liked the way they looked. It's funny how people can find the same shoe wildly different on the comfort scale.

I may try the Columbia shoes next.

Yeah, sorry they did not work out. I blame @Pirate Lady

Yes, different shoes fit different folks, differently (say that 3 times real fast). I have foot doctor custom orthotics too that I use in almost every pair of shoes, except these.

Do these have hard bottoms? I purchased a pair of Olukai shoes and it sounds like Im walking around in wood blocks. They are comfy though.

Rubber and the toes breathe, you can feel the cool air enter the shoe.

In general Olukia shoes tend to be a bit stiff to begin with, but they conform to your foot and that makes them comfortable. I love their sandals and also shoe-slipper in the winter.

That sounds like Birkenstocks. They start out kinda weird and stiff. Then they mold to your feet. I have a pair of the 2 strap Arizona sandals and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. But - the leather footbed is not good around wet environments.

Yes, just like them. Only these are clear-ish rubber (both sneakers and sandals), so great around the boat. The first day is a little tough, but then they awesome.
