A friend hooked up his battery backwards on his 2001 Crownline - fried the fuse to the corsa, but after replacement still wont work - he says he fried the "coil commander" module but he cant find the part - I think he said its 2 wires in 4 out. it is a type cc11 - the other numbers on the unit are SA-4595, SN-13550 (serial number?) and VDC-12 (12 volt) anyone have a source for this or know of a replacemment that works? just trying to help him out - he misses the rumble - I told him we could likely wire it permanently on, but his wife didn't like that idea.....

Most of that 4 wire stuff is discontinued but Corsa still answers their phone. There's after market co. producing that stuff. I just got a 4 wire solenoid off ebay for short money.

Leave it wired permanently off. Unless you are in a go fast boat it just sounds obnoxious and looks silly.
