Has anyone had to replace this keypad on there boat. If so can you please tell me how to get it out and who would have the best price to replace it or repair it. No matter which button we push nothing happens.
Thanks

On my 260 - I ordered a new one from the dealer. It was around $150 +/-

Very easy to remove. The plastic faceplate pulls outward at the bottom, then slide it vertically since the top has plastic tabs holding it to the aluminum face plate.

Once the cover is off, you only have to remove the two visible mounting screws. Carefully take the unit off the wall making sure that the wire follows. The wire/plug can be carefully pulled out of the back of the control unit.

I took mine off last year and recall that it wasn't very difficult.

Thanks for the info, sounds easy. Now I just have to find a replacement for this one.

I now offer a great alternative to a new replacement. Flight Systems Inc. now offers an upgraded keypad for your SMXII keypad. For $69 to $80 we offer a new keypad membrane and back plate. Using your existing circuit board we give your keypad a whole new life. Check us out at www.flightsystems.com

Has anyone tried this service yet? Most of the keys stopped working (after got wet) and need to either fix or replace.

Thanks!

Ditto, I used flight systems, cheap, fast and worked great. 80 dollars and I had it back in a week.
