I had a brain fart moment and asked a question that had a simple answer. then answered my own question. As putting a switch on the leading hot wire to my amps. To kill power so only my interior speakers work when desired. Lol

Yep. that should do it. Some of the newer radios have built in zone switching. Garmin Fusion series for example. I'm a big fan.

Yep, independent volume control from any remote or the head unit.
