Lol no doubt. The far side was a total PITA when on the lift. It’s actually easier to install when the dinghy is floating. Great cover though.

Yes i put an extended boat hook from the engine throttle handle to the bow. Works great for me. Like a pup tent. Some water gets in. I have a battery operated pump from Harbor Freight $10, pump out excess, sun dries the rest quickly.if you look at avatar pic, i have the seat with a throw cushion on top in middle that supports the pole in middle. I kept the zodiac all winter on the rack shown with this method and had almost no water in it come spring.

Curious, is this the battery operated pump you got from HF?
