Engines sound like they are coming out of the water - cavitation????

I have a Sundancer 340 On the ocean. Several times on our trips it sounds like the engines are cavitating? Actually it sounds like some one is picking up the boat and the engines are not getting any water and vibrate heavily. Any thoughts???

Pathetic boat has roughly 590 hours on both inboard engines.
