So, We have owned our 240SD for about a year now and had our first bad day. The SmartCraft alarm started going off (two-tone) and the display showed "Check Engine". The engine was running at idle, I cycled through the displays and when I got to the water PSI, I immediately noticed that it was reading 0.3. The engine temp was still at 158. Decided we better get back to the marina. As soon as we got up to about 3200RPM's the alarm stopped and the PSI was up to 6.8. As soon as we got to the Marina and back to idle speed, the PSI dropped back to 0.3. Alarm came back on a few minutes later, but the engine temp never went over 160.
One other note, the speedo had stopped working, so I cleared the hole with a drill bit, but could never get it working. No signs of any clogged intakes so, I am guessing I need my impeller replaced?
How much should that run? 350 Mag, Bravo III.

if temp looks OK then most likely water pressure sensor needs to be replaced - they go bad a lot (once they are filled with growth, sand etc, they stop reading lower psi or show incorrect readings)

ARGGG..... So, I take the boat to the Sea Ray dealer on Monday morning and they tell me, three boats in front of you, should be done by the end of the week. Now, it's the end of the week and they tell me "three boats in front of you, it will be next week" . So does complaining do any good or just put you down the list?!

Are you handy? Changing an impeller on a Bravo 3 is not that hard if you can get to the waterpump. You may still be able to salvage Sunday.

Impeller has nothing to do with speedo. If you cleaned the hole completely and it's still not working then check to make sure the hose is still connected. IIRC, it connects on the leading edge of the drive just above the cavitation plate.

Expect low water psi at idle (.2-.3). At speed the pressure should get much higher (6-10 psi or greater). Could just be a bad sensor. Mine went on first day of delivery.

OK, a two part end to this story.

 YAY for Sea Ray of Cincinnati, they saved my weekend. Got the boat looked at today and the alarm and check engine were due to...............
........ Low outdrive oil in the Reservoir. As tbirdvet noted, seems the water PSI was normal.

:smt021 Doh!! Lesson learned and for a change, NOT at a high price.
