Is it just me or is anyone else wondering how a tow line gets caught in a prop? Any tow line should be polypropylene so it won't sink below the surface and...get wrapped up in a prop.
Not trying to insult anybody, just confused.

Every time a rope is in the water my anxiety level goes up 10 fold. Sounds like you managed it; You live and you learn.
This explains it better than I can. Basically there is a potential for electrocution if you, or anyone around you has faulty wiring.

Thanks for all the replies... Went and tried to take a look at the prop... It's amazing how even with a mask could only see a couple inches in the murky water.,, . But soon as I got in the water something brushed up against my leg..lol probably just a fish .but I was sure a snake or alligator was gonna get me... Figured if I was actually under the boat and that happened I could panic and that could cause problems lol
so got a diver looking at it now
hopefully no serious damage
A friend of mine did the same as you. He bent the shafts and struts. I would have the boat hauled and verify.
