Triple 250
First time running this trip on my Searay 320 Sundancer triple outboard. Left around 1:30 took about 2 1/2 hours running 35 mph getting 1 mpg. Saw some dolphins along the way and my wife and daughter loved that. We stayed at Key West Bight Marina, decent place with some restaurants right at the end of the dock. They have nice private bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities.

We had some dinner and hit a few bars, went back to the boat watched a movie and had our first overnight on the boat. Slept well, got up and had a great breakfast at Moon Dog cafe, did some shopping and headed back to Marco.

When we left we had some decent rollers and I thought it would be a long trip back, halfway back it started to smooth out until it was pretty much glass. Did 41 mph for the remainder of the trip, all in all a successful trip.

Congratulations! Sounds like a great trip. I'm counting the days until we can move to Southwest Florida and make similar trips.

Great trip. Any pictures you can share?

Do you have your wife sleep in the v-berth or the mid-cabin.

I tried posting pics but they were coming out upside down?

My daughter slept in the V-Berth and my wife and I slept in the mid.

Buddy bring that thing over to the east side next summer and run with us on one of our Bimini trips. You won’t be disappointed….

I will probably be running the June 15th Bimini fling in prep for our Exuma trip in July. Check it out, it is a great way for first time crossers to experience the Bahamas. We will have 20 plus boats going over of all sizes.
