That would be a long and stragic planned trip. These are not exactly the boats that I would choose to do that trip. Not saying it couldn't be done but it would have to be planned and have back up plans for around Haiti and DR area. Fuel bladders, guns and and lot of planning....

Why not ? Sedan Bridge on hull speed can't do distances? Prepare the boat for a long anchorage, install solar panels and ... and other equipment
Exactly…. Could you imagine fueling a planing boat at probably close to $9 a gallon that far??? Wow $$$$Why not just buy a boat designed for that Type of cruising?
Gotta ask, are we talking about "your 330" running this trip or is the question about larger Sea Rays doing this trip?My experience is offshore (50-100 mile) fishing. I never see Sea Ray in the ocean in NJ , normally drunk Capitan drive between restaurants and also life at the marina.
But I see good and very capable Sedan Bridge Sea Ray ( 46-58) , are they really not capable for a long cruise?
Ive seen Sea Rays 25-50 out of Holgate (LBI) once in a while, I ran my 260 to the 25 fathom hole (50 miles, 150 deg) numerous times out there. It did ok, not as good as a Blackfin, but better than a Bayliner. Aside from the AJ, they dont compete in the fishing scene offshore, and they dont pretend to.My experience is offshore (50-100 mile) fishing.
