Hoping there is an easy fix for this. Just came back from a week vacation on the boat. Freshwater system worked fine but by last day pressure was down. I turned off the pump and pulled the filter which was clogged with stale water mung. Cleaned it out put it back. When I ran the faucet, it sputtered like there was air in the system. Not sure how to purge. I should mention that pump was new last year.

Check and clean any aerators in faucets dirt will clog them, just replaced all mine, huge difference.

Check the filter again. I had similar issue and it was "mung" in tank that kept clogging it.good mild bleach flush fixed it.

Go to each faucet and run water for 30 seconds to let the air out. Do hot and cold. Don't forget the head.

make sure you have a good amount of water in the tank - more than a 1/4 of the tank. Also double check all your fittings and connections near the pump to be sure they are tight. This includes the water line, elbows and the filter housing and cap itself.

+1, and pay especially close attention to the vacuum side between the pump and the tank. Most likely the filter was not tightened properly or the O ring has gone bad (or dropped out during all of this.

Lastly, make sure you get some Clorox in the tank. Obviously, stuff is growing in there that you do not want. Check out the threads on putting tanks into service.
