Prefer to sell as a package as I am about to install an MPI 454 and BIII transom assy and one sale/ pickup is desirable.
My (completely negotiable) asking price is $2200.
The Alpha transom assy is in excellent condition throughout and does not need a thing. The Gen1 out drive installed as a new unit prior to my purchase in 2015 and still has the original paint. Impeller was replaced in 2018 and has (maybe) 10hrs of run time on it. Gear oil is fresh, no leaks, comes with transom-mounted gear oil bottle (that doesn't leak!). Shifts are as designed, clean and crisp. I believe there's a 19p prop mounted, a few spare props to go with it and a couple Quicksilver hub kits. (Will update with gear ratio once I have that info.)
The Bravo 7.4L engine is somewhat of another story. I rebuilt the Rochester carb with ethanol-compatible parts. Both heads were rebuilt by me (due to a stuck valve on intake 5), valves were lapped, new valve guide seals installed and all associated gaskets to R&R the heads. Brand new Mr. Cool oil/ power steering cooler and new raw water pump, to name a few things. All of the deteriorated hardware was replaced with new during the head work. The engine runs and makes power and does not leak fluids of any kind however it is showing its age in the form of considerable blow by. My belief is that there are a couple stuck piston rings. Pretty much the only thing not included with the engine will be the manifolds/ elbows. I have a number of spares for this engine including a Thunderbolt IV module (sans wire harness), oil cooler, belts, possibly steering pump and possibly alternator.
Delivery available (terms to be agreed upon)
Please feel free to comment, ask questions or advise on what I'm missing for information.
Thank you.
