My friend’s dad passed away back in the 80’s of pancreatic cancer when we were teenagers. He (the dad) had been a police officer in the small town of Altoona, Alabama.
Back before there was WWF there was Southeastern Conference Wrestling at Birmingham’s Boutwell Auditorium. The dad once took us there on a Saturday night for an event.

Andre wasn’t there that night but he (the dad) told a story of arresting Andre for DUI on his way to one of those events years earlier.

A few years ago my Mom decided she needed a day bed in her home office. She found one advertised at Ikea and asked me to put it together. First, just finding the f'n thing in the store was a b!tch. That should have been my 1st clue. Second clue was that it came in 2 boxes. Third when I opened it and it looked like that picture. No rhyme or reason. Damn thing took me 8 hours to assemble, cussing the whole time. I will never touch any POS from Ikea again.

Omg….. if you ever buy anything at ikea you need to add the cost of a case of beer, 250 swear words and your Saturday night to assemble the $40 cabinet

When the kid moved into a house at college he needed furniture. Loaded up a whole bedroom set at Ikea. All flat boxes. Fit perfect in the suv. Got it all together in an afternoon. :)
