If anyone does find a stock type of replacement let us know. The Quacker horn has been uber discussed for the past 5 years. Why it's even Quacked up a few folks...:smt043

Here is the reply from sea ray.glad to see they know about the site and send people here for great information.

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding your Sea Ray 240 Sundancer. Regarding the horns on your boat, your boat originally came with horn part #1783020 HORN, DUAL TONE BLK W/PACKARD CONN. That horn was later replaced by horn part#1837054 HORN, SGL CONCEALED W/SS GRILL/CONN. However, part #1837054 is not a direct replacement, meaning that some modifications may be necessary for correct installation and I'm not sure exactly sure if this one sounds any different from the original one.
What I would suggest, is to check with your local Sea Ray dealer to see if they can suggest a possible aftermarket horn that you could use to replace the one currently on your boat that sounds better. Also, there is a Club Sea Ray discussion forum on the internet that you could check with to see if any other 2006 240 Sundancer owners have encountered a similar situation and what there solution was. For your convenience, I have attached a web-link to Club Sea Ray along with the contact information for your local Sea Ray dealers.
As always, thank you for your interest in Sea Ray boats and we hope that you have a Happy New Year.
