Hey folks, looks like my PSA's are a bit high and have been for a little while. I'm getting a biopsy done tomorrow. Can't hardly wait but if it means early detection then so be it. :thumbsup:

Result will come next week. How's about remembering me around 10:30 EST. Bore scope here we come. :smt089:smt089

Good luck, I hope that your levels were only slightly high and you can resolve quickly.

Bill,
Sorry to hear that, our prayers with you.
Get well soon and turn back us.

Thanks to all my well wishers. You guy's are great on this site. I know that we may have differences on issues but I would lift a tall boy with any of you.
Doc said there is a better chance I don't have the Big C than that I do. We'll see.

I've always supported the Cancer Society and will continue to do so. Hope I don't need them now.

Bill, I'll have a internet beer with ya now. :smt001

Now that you are done or at least you will read this afterward... My last PSA readings were high so they performed a biopsy on the prostrate and I ended up in intensive care from e-coli for a couple of days due to something they used that was not sanitized completely. Temps ran up over 106 and I had memory issues for months afterward. The biotics I was given before the biop were not effective and the ones I was given afterward that finally got a handle on the e-coli was a last resort biotic. I now have one more "super" biotic that will work on my system so I am not too sure I will ever go for another biopsy of the prostrate... The odds of having my issues are actually pretty common but getting them under control are more common then I had.

Hope all is well. BTW, my biopsy was negative for cancer so I am good to go for a while I guess...

Bill, wishing all is well for you and your test is done and over with now at 12:15!

Well that was the strangest thing I've ever had done with my pants off. All went well and the Doctor seemed fairly relaxed in giving me my preliminary overview. He found a couple stones on there that he said could be giving high PSA. I too am watching the temperature. I took the advice of another cancer survivor to make sure I had the least possible chance for infection so we'll see. Everything he used was in sealed packages.

Thank to everyone on this site. Some of you I have met from raft ups and some just on this site but everyone is an encouragement.
The results will come next week so I’ll update you then.

Sorry no pictures to post.:smt119:lol::lol:
